On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205 and York High School officials were alerted by Elmhurst Police Department about a school-related Internet threat. York High School has and will continue to cooperate with the investigation.

Parents and guardians of York High School students can sign up for Parent-Teacher conferences starting Thursday, September 19th, at 6 AM. Sign up will be through PowerPTC and will be open until Monday, September 26th at 11:59 PM.
On September 3 and September 5, 2019, Elmhurst District 205 hosted three informational meetings about the upcoming integration of all-day kindergarten. If you were not able to attend one of those sessions, but would still like the information that was presented, the presentation is now available online.
York High School student athletes helped cut the ribbon on a new campus fitness center Monday evening. The state-of-the-art workout gym grew from vision to reality thanks to a generous $100,000 donation from the York Athletic Boosters. The York Athletic Department partnered with the Elmhurst District 205 School Board to allocate the remaining $20,000 needed for the renovation project.
